We never want you to feel like you’re stumbling in the dark, so we’ve compiled some of our most frequently asked questions. We hope we covered most of them, but if we haven’t, feel free to shoot us an email!

  • Do you only serve the Kerrville area?
    While we love, love, LOVE working with local businesses in Kerrville, Boerne, Center Point, Comfort, Fredericksburg, Ingram and Hunt, if you’re outside the Hill Country or Texas State, we’re always open to seeing if we’d be a good fit for you.
  • Do you have a physical location or office?
    Fill out our contact form or send us an email to set up an in-person appointment. I’m always up to chat at your favorite local coffee shop – AND we also still offer voice calls if that’s more convenient. In other words, we’d love to meet you in whatever way you prefer!
  • How do I get started with The Design Booth?
    We’re so excited you’re ready to work together! You can send an email or fill out the form on our contact page. Once we receive your request, we will reach out within 24 to 48 hours to set up a time to chat (in person or over the phone). Please note, I am only available Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm (CST).
  • Do you offer payment plans to fit our budget?
    Yes! As a small business owner, I know professional, custom branding is an investment. I will always work with you the best I can through payment plans or other package customizations to fit your budget and your vision.
  • How long does the branding or website design process typically take?
    Timelines vary from project to project, but here’s a tentative ETA for each type of project. For branding packages without a website build, it’s typically 2-4 weeks until you receive final deliverables. For branding packages with a website, it’s typically 4 to 8 weeks until you have all your branding and your website is launched. For print designs, this varies greatly from project to project. But feel free to reach out to me for an estimated timeline and quote! Please note, all project timelines are heavily dependent on how quickly you are able to give feedback and how many deliverables you are asking for.
  • Can I choose your branding package and a website package?
    Yes! In fact, that’s how most of my client’s love working with me (and I love getting to see someone’s brand come to life from the very first logo concepts to the final design and website experience). Let the magic begin!
  • What can I expect when starting a logo design project with The Design Booth?
    Once you reach out to us, we will schedule a time to chat! We can meet in person (with local clients) or over the phone. We leave that up to you! During our initial meeting, I will ask many questions: Do you want a redesign of your current logo? Do you not have a logo currently? Are you looking for a branding deep dive? Do you have a logo idea and want to have it finessed by a professional? After our first call, I’ll better understand what you’re dreaming up and send over packages and pricing. If you decide to work with us, we’ll dive deeper before we begin by sending over a questionnaire and setting up a branding strategy call. Your input is integral for creating a unique and meaningful logo, so we kick off the design process with a lot of questions and lots of listening.
  • Do I need to give examples of logos I like to you before you begin?
    It’s not required, but strongly recommended. It’s always beneficial for us to get a feel for what you like. Sometimes clients draw a rough idea, create a Pinterest board (mood board) or send us other logo examples. Whatever you can provide as inspiration is great! But, if you’re struggling with doing that, we got you!
  • What do you build your websites on?
    We build websites on Wix. We have found that Wix provides many great options and flexibility for clients. Wix offers forms, galleries, the ability to accept payments and invoice your customers, and so much more. It has both the website builder and the reliable hosting to get any site up and running. Wix does have a hosting fee that will be billed directly to the client and we can help make recommendations on the plan that will be best for you.
  • Will I be able to edit my own website afterwards?
    Absolutely! Wix is highly user-friendly, and we will help teach you how to get in and edit easily. If you would rather The Design Booth make any future updates, we can also discuss our web update fees with you.
  • What is print design?
    Examples of print design include: business cards, flyers, posters, banners, postcards, rack cards, brochures & so much more!
  • Will you assist me in printing my designs?
    Yes! We work with a local printer and can do the legwork (for a fee) to get your printing done. If you choose to work with a printer on your own, we will make sure you have the correct files to send to them.
  • What if I need a design for a print item but don't see it listed on your site?
    We can help with almost anything and love putting on our creative skills to use for a variety of projects. And even if it’s not on our site, there’s a good chance we’ve done it before. Get in touch through the form on our contact page, and we’d be happy to discuss what we can do for you!
